Introducing Bertie Battenburg, Colin and Cuthbert's better looking cousin (Sorry other retailers...) A twist on our most popular cake. Vanilla and almond checkboard sponge cake jammed together and wrapped in a generous layer of golden marzipan, finished with a fondant decoration and presented in a golden gift box.

Baked and delivered fresh to order. Our cakes are best enjoyed on the day of delivery. Please see shelf life below for more information.

Ingredients:

Gluten and wheat free flour (rice, potato, tapioca,maize, buckwheat, raising agents ((mono calcium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate)), xanthan), sugar, EGGS, dairy free margarine (rapeseed and palm oils, water, salt, emulsifier: polyglcerol esters of fatty acids, colours: curcumin, annatto, flavourings. Almond flavour, colouring: E422, E551, E102, E104, E124, E129, E1520

Marzipan: NUTS: ALMOND, sugar

Strawberry Jam: sugar, strawberries, water, pectin, citric acid, acidity regulator: sodium citrate

Shelf Life:

This product handmade and baked fresh to order can be kept for up to five days in an air tight container.

They are dairy free but not vegan.

Can I freeze the cakes to save them for later?

Sorry no, these are not suitable for freezing.

Are they really gluten free?

Yes! Everything we produce is 100% gluten free, we produce everything in a gluten free kitchen so there is no risk of cross contamination.
